Alanis Morissette, Joan Jett Share Mashup Of Two Of Their Biggest Hits

Alanis Morissette and Joan Jett, who are set to embark on a summer tour together, recently shared a mashup of two of their most famous songs titled “Hate Myself for Loving You Oughta Know.”

Produced by DJ Cummerbund, the track combines Jett’s 1988 smash hit “I Hate Myself for Loving You” with Morissette’s 1995 hit “You Oughta Know.” Jett’s 1982 cover of “I Love Rock ‘n Roll” also makes a brief appearance.

Morissette wrote a note to accompany the track that reads, “The triple moon tour is almost here and we wanted to celebrate with this mashup (made by the amazing @DJCummerbund) of ‘you oughta know’ x ‘i hate myself for loving you,'” adding, “elated to see you very soon.”

Meanwhile, Jett, Morissette and country singer Morgan Wade will team up for the Triple Moon tour, which kicks off June 9 in Phoenix and concludes August 10 in Inglewood, California.
