Alice Cooper Launches Another Satirical Campaign For President

Alice Cooper has launched another campaign for President of the United States. As usual, this time too is satirical.

The rock star has launched an official website (www.aliceforpresident.com) and shared a short campaign video explaining why he should be elected as the head of the nation.

“Well, I’m Alice Cooper, and I’m a troubled man for troubled times. I have absolutely no idea what to do, so I should fit right in,” he says in the video.

Fans can sign up to receive campaign updates and purchase t-shirts.

Cooper had been running satirical presidential campaigns for every U.S. Presidential election since he released the chart-topping track “Elected,” the debut single from his sixth album Billion Dollar Babies, in 1972.

“I’m a troubled man for troubled times,” is Cooper’s campaign slogan for 2024.

His campaign slogan for the last election was, “I can do nothing as well as they can do nothing.”

He satirically ran for president in 2016 as the candidate of the Wild Party.
