Billy Joel’s 100th Madison Square Garden Concert To Air On CBS

CBS has announced that Billy Joel‘s 100th Madison Square Garden concert will be celebrated with a special broadcast on April 14.

The 100th: Billy Joel at Madison Square Garden- The Greatest Arena Run of All Time celebrates his historic franchise run that concludes with his 150th lifetime performance at the historic New York City venue in July.

The concert special will be shot at Joel’s record-breaking 100th consecutive performance at Madison Square Garden as part of his franchise run on March 28. It marks his first broadcast network concert.

The 100th MSG concert will also stream live and on demand on Paramount+. The special is a co-production of Sony Music Entertainment and Enliven Entertainment.

All of Joel’s concerts at Madison Square Garden have been sold out since making his debut in December 1978, making him the artist with the most sell-outs at the famed Manhattan arena.

On February 1, the six-time Grammy Award-winning Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee and Kennedy Center honoree released his first new single in decades, titled “Turn The Lights Back On.”

The 74-year-old Piano Man will headline a series of stadium shows throughout 2024. Solo dates and concerts with Stevie Nicks, Rod Stewart and Sting are scheduled through the fall.
