Morrissey To Reissue Siouxsie Sioux Duet ‘Interlude’

Morrissey has announced that he will reissue “Interlude,” marking the 30th anniversary of his duet with punk icon Siouxsie Sioux.

“To celebrate the 30th anniversary of Morrissey and Siouxsie’s duet ‘Interlude’, the 12-inch disc will soon be re-issued on limited gold vinyl,” said a message on Morrissey’s website, telling fans to watch out for its release date.

The message added, “The disc is pressed on the Roulette label by Warner (London), and it was originally released by Parlophone, reaching number 25. There was no video for this recording, no television appearances, and no photo sessions.”

A cover of the title track for the 1968 film of the same name by Timi Yuro, “Interlude” was released in 1994. The song peaked at No. 25 on the U.K. Singles Chart the same year.

“Interlude” was later included on a compilation called Suedehead: The Best of Morrissey.
