Prince, Keith Urban, Green Day, Fantasia, Depeche Mode, Los Bukis, The B-52s, The Isley Brothers, Busta Rhymes, George Strait, and WAR will receive Stars on Hollywood Walk of Fame in the category of recording.
In addition, 25 other entertainment professionals in various other categories have been selected to receive stars as members of the Hollywood Walk of Fame Class of 2025.
They include English football player David Beckham, Oscar winning actresses Jessica Chastain and Jane Fonda, Hollywood’s first Black stuntwoman Toni Vaz, and Golden Globe Award winning actor Colin Farrell.
Prince will be inducted into the Walk of Fame posthumously.
These honorees were chosen by the Walk of Fame selection panel of the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce.
“The Walk of Fame has made history again! As Chairman of the Walk of Fame Selection Committee, I am thrilled to announce the distinguished honorees who will grace the iconic Walk of Fame in the Class of 2025. Each honoree truly embodies the essence of excellence in their respective fields,” said Peter Roth, Chairman.
The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce said dates have not been scheduled for the honorees’ star ceremonies.
