Peter Gabriel Shares New Single 'This Is Home'
Peter Gabriel recently released the tenth track from his upcoming album i/o.
This September full moon release is titled "This Is Home" and the first version to be heard is the Dark-Side Mix by Tchad Blake.
It comes with artwork from David Moreno and his work "Conexión de catedral II."
The song was written and produced by Gabriel, who describes it as "a love song."
Though he doesn't appear on the final track, some of the early brainstorming for what was to become "This Is Home" was done with DJ and producer Skrillex.
"This Is Home" features contributions from a Swedish male voice choir called Orphei Drangar, as well as another orchestral arrangement from John Metcalfe.
Upcoming versions are Bright-Side Mix by Mark 'Spike' Stent and In-Side Mix by Hans-Martin Buff, to be released in mid-October on the next new moon.

KISS co-founder Gene Simmons has partnered with iconic instrument brand Gibson for a new signature bass named Gene Simmons EB-0 Bass.

Kelly Clarkson Shares 'You Don't Make Me Cry' Featuring Daughter River Rose
Kelly Clarkson recently released "You Don't Make Me Cry," a collaboration featuring her 9-year-old daughter River Rose.
The song is one of the eight bonus tracks on the new deluxe edition of Clarkson's latest album, Chemistry.
Clarkson revealed on Instagram that River recorded the track when she was just 5 years old.
The song begins with River singing some sounds in an adorably auto-tuned vocal run that leads into Clarkson's catchy pop track. The girl's voice appears again at the end of the song, with a pitch-perfect "The End!"
"And you don't make me cry/And I cry at everything/You don't make me feel and I feel more than most now/That says something, doesn't it?/So I'm picking you from my garden, weeds aren't allowed in/Guess you missed that," Clarkson sings.
A few weeks ago, River and her younger brother, Remington Alexander, both joined Clarkson on stage at one of the final shows of her Las Vegas residency.
Remington danced his way through Clarkson's "Whole Lotta Woman," and River joined her mom for a performance of 2015's "Heartbreak Song."

Rush's Geddy Lee Announces U.K. Spoken Word Tour
Rush singer/bassist Geddy Lee has announced a U.K. Tour in support of his upcoming memoir, "My Effin' Life."
"Geddy Lee In Conversation," a series of intimate dates across the U.K., will begin in Wolverhampton on December 10.
On every evening of the tour, after the curtain rises, Lee will give his fans a peek into the very fabric of his life: from a deep reflection into his family and childhood, to a steep dive into the history of Rush; from the determined pursuit of music, to the personal memories of his life-long friends and bandmates Alex Lifeson and Neil Peart.
Joined on stage by a special guest interviewer, Lee will read key passages from "My Effin' Life." He will then share thoughts and stories taken from his experience. Fans will have the chance to participate in a special Q&A, with Lee answering their questions.
"Writing this book has meant spending so much time living in the past," said Lee. "I've never lived my life looking anywhere but forward, which is why I resisted doing this kind of thing for so long. Being in a band all those years was reassuring because it was an ongoing thing. It felt like it was forever. There was always unfinished business: the next record, the next set design, the next tour. It's been the theme of my life."
He continued, "But you need a lot more determination to proceed in the world of music without the comfort of your bandmates, and I can only hope that finishing this book will release me to return to what I do and love best."
Harper Collins will publish "My Effin' Life" on November 14.
Each U.K. ticket purchased will include a copy of the book via the tour partner Waterstones.
Tickets will be available on https://www.rush.com/geddylee/
Pre-sale of tickets for Barbican members will begin on September 27 at 10 am BST. Venue pre-sales will begin on September 28 at 10 am BST, and the general on-sale will begin on September 29 10 am BST.

Bruce Springsteen Postpones Remaining 2023 Tour Dates Amid Recovery From Peptic Ulcer Disease
Bruce Springsteen has announced that out of an abundance of caution, all of his remaining 2023 tour dates with The E Street Band will be postponed until 2024 amid his recovery from peptic ulcer disease.
The rock legend has continued to recover steadily from peptic ulcer disease over the past few weeks and will continue treatment through the rest of the year on doctor's advice.
Rescheduled dates for each of the 2023 shows, including those postponed earlier this month, will be announced next week, all taking place at their originally scheduled venues.
When the new 2024 dates are announced, those unable to attend the shows who purchased their tickets through official ticketing companies have 30 days to request a refund. All tickets for postponed performances will remain valid for the newly announced dates.
"Thanks to all my friends and fans for your good wishes, encouragement, and support. I'm on the mend and can't wait to see you all next year," said Springsteen.
The tour by Springsteen and his backing band, which began on February 1, has been interrupted many times since then.
The shows on August 16 and 18 in Philadelphia and August 28 in Washington, D.C., were postponed due to Springsteen having Covid.
Springsteen announced the postponement of eight shows scheduled between September 7 and 29 because he was undergoing treatment for symptoms of peptic ulcer disease and that doctors recommended he not perform live.

Bob Dylan Plays With The Heartbreakers In Surprise Farm Aid Appearance
Bob Dylan made a surprise appearance at Farm Aid on Saturday night, performing three songs with three members of Tom Petty's Heartbreakers.
Dylan made the surprise appearance at Farm Aid 2023 in Noblesville, Indiana. He played guitar and was joined by Mike Campbell, Benmont Tench, and Steve Ferrone for a performance of three songs from 1965: "Maggie's Farm," "Positively 4th Street," and "Ballad of a Thin Man."
Dylan performed on the Farm Aid stage for the first time since the inaugural event in 1985.
Dylan is credited with inspiring Willie Nelson to launch Farm Aid. During a 1985 performance at Live Aid, Dylan wondered whether a similar event could be put to support American farmers.
Nelson along with John Mellencamp and Neil Young organized the Farm Aid benefit concert to raise money for and help family farmers in the United States. The first concert was held on September 22, 1985, at the Memorial Stadium in Champaign, Illinois, before a crowd of 80,000 people. Performers included Dylan, Billy Joel, B.B. King, Loretta Lynn, Roy Orbison, and Tom Petty, among others.
Meanwhile, Dylan is set to kick off the new leg of his North American tour in Kansas City on October 1.

Kane Brown Releases Phil Collins-Sampling Single 'I Can Feel It'
Country music star Kane Brown recently released his latest single, "I Can Feel It." "I can feel it in the air / Feel it in the whiskey in my hand / Your hips, your body tells me when you start to dance / Maybe this is turning into a 'we should probably get up out of here' / Oh baby I swear / I can feel it in the air," Brown sings in the chorus.
Brown's song samples the famous drum part from Phil Collins' hit "In the Air Tonight." The former Genesis singer is listed among the songwriters on "I Can Feel It," along with Brown, Gabe Foust and Jaxson Free.
"It's a legendary drum fill and it's a legendary song. There's no way I could not do that," Brown told Zane Lowe on Apple Music 1 in reference to including Collins' name in the credits. "I'm the type of guy that I don't like to screw anybody over. I feel like good karma is, that's what's going to keep you going in life."
He added, "Even if it was a new guy that was working at a small store nobody knew about, I'd definitely give him writer's credit. Phil could have said no, so I'm glad that he let me use the song."

Foghat Share Video For 'She's A Little Bit Of Everything'
Foghat have released a video for "She's a Little Bit of Everything," the second single from their upcoming 17th studio album, Sonic Mojo, which is due out on November 10th via Foghat Records.
Sonic Mojo, which is Foghat's first album in seven years, features three songs - including "She's a Little Bit of Everything" - co-written with late Savoy Brown founder and guitarist Kim Simmonds, who died in 2022.
"He was a blues man," Foghat's Roger Earl told Ultimate Classic Rock. "Kim had a wonderful touch [and] he could emote through his guitar playing. It reached you."
Bryan Bassett says, "The song is a straight-up blues rocker that's quickly becoming a crowd favorite in our live show."
"What an honor to be part of a song written by Kim and performed with Roger! It's a straight rock and roll track that celebrates women! In all of her power, grace and beauty. What else is there to celebrate if not women?!?" Scott Holt adds.
Earl concludes, "As soon as I heard this song, I knew it was for us. I claimed that it was written about Kim's wife, Debi, but she is far too fine a person to ever admit that that's where it came from. I really believe that this is where Kim got the inspiration for this song. It's probably my favorite. Thank you, Kim."
